  • Trim and factory options: running boards and grilles may exclude TRD, Limited or models with factory side skirts; the title or fitment note says so.
  • Roof load type: baskets and crossbars rely on the factory rails or a flat roof; confirm your rail type and whether you have the standard or sunroof body.
  • Install effort: MOLLE panels and organizers are mostly bolt-in or magnetic no-drill; ladders and racks need torque on hatch or rail hardware and sometimes a second set of hands.

Will 2010–2024 4Runner parts fit a 2025 model?

Almost never. The 2025 4Runner is a new platform with different roof, hatch, cargo and dash dimensions. Shop by year and look for 6th Gen or 2025–2026 in the listing; anything tagged 2010–2024 is for the previous body only.

Does a rear window MOLLE panel block visibility?

Panels are shaped to sit against the side cargo windows, not the rear glass, so the view through the mirror stays open. Roof and overhead panels mount near the headliner; check the placement photos before buying if sightlines matter to you.

Are the running boards drill-free?

Many bolt into factory holes under the rocker panel, but trucks with side skirts or earlier generations can require trim removal or added brackets. The fitment note tells you whether the board uses existing points or needs drilling, and listings mark without side skirts where that applies.
